Blueexpressions isn't a tribute to my favorite color or a random name I coined but, rather, reflects the love and great admiration I have for a certain art movement called De Blue Ryder and the style of art that is abstract expressionism. Both depict the world without spelling out every detail in different ways and both have been endlessly inspiring.

Welcome to BlueExpressions! I'm Brianna McCord, an artist deeply engrossed in the realm of color, currently finding inspiration in the dynamic ambiance of Saint Petersburg, Florida. My artistic journey spans diverse landscapes, beginning with a decade-long immersion in the vibrant streets of NYC and culminating in a transformative sojourn across the ocean to Sweden, both of which have left indelible marks on my creative perspective.
Each leg of my journey, punctuated by encounters with remarkable individuals and immersive experiences in new locales, has infused my work with a distinct energy. My artistic process is intricately linked to the exploration of memories and emotions evoked by these encounters.
Driven by an enduring passion for art and its historical underpinnings, I continually delve into the process of ideation, from initial inspiration to final execution. This journey of creation is a perpetual source of fascination, seamlessly woven into the fabric of my artistic endeavors.
The amalgamation of influences from my Scandinavian immersion and the rich tapestry of experiences from my years in NYC finds expression in the evolving imagery that defines my portfolio.
